Lagos, Portugal Day 2

We started off with a lazy morning with nothing in particular planned.

We ended up exploring the lighthouse and the coastal walk above the grottoes. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. We had a delicious lunch in town starting with the Portuguese versions of capreze salad and garlic and cheese bread (was more like a pizza). Three of us had swordfish steaks from the grill.

Back to the grocery store to top up our tapas style food supply for dinner and a long dip in our beautiful pool.

It’s been a great day so far.

The Lagos lighthouse built in 1913. Ponte de Piedade.
The beautiful caves and grottoes. Great place for sea kayaking and grotto exploring.
