Another year has rolled around and we are anxious to get back on the road again.
As usual, we have gone through the van again and removed extraneous items that we didn’t use on our last two trips. We are getting very lean now in what we carry. Since we hope to be able to sample some wonderful southern cooking, we aren’t planning to carry much with us in the way of food, just the usual breakfast items and things we can cook at the last minute in an emergency situation.
New Orleans Bound!
We still have a few states left to visit. Our spring trip this year will take us to Louisiana where we hope to follow some of the Bayou trails with some time in New Orleans. We will leave home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 so follow along with us on another Road Trek Adventure.
New Technology
We have added some new technology this time around. I don’t like being out of network range with our cell phones. State parks and some campgrounds are notorious for not having available wifi or network. We took the leap and purchased the newest version of Starlink. It works fine at home and only takes about 10 minutes to set up and find the nearest satellite. Let’s see how it works ‘in the field’. You can join us while we experiment.
