This is a family day and we had some shopping to do. It’s still cold and ‘rain squally’. I sincerely hope the weather is getting the nasty stuff out of its system before we start travelling / camping seriously.
Tim Horton’s Donut Shops: the mainstay of every town in Canada… actually started in Hamilton ON … does a fund raiser one week a year where they sell ‘Smile Cookies’. 100% of the proceeds go to different charities. This year the 2 selected charities in London are 2 that my daughter has worked for: Investing in Children and the Children’s Health Foundation. So naturally we bought some.
