2022 February – Escaping the cold – and the house

February 19, 2022, the 25th anniversary of our move from Montreal.

Cold weather and Covid-19 have kept us cooped for most of the winter and the van was looking a little forlorn parked in the driveway. With a weekly run and an occassional top up from the trickle charger, the battery system is in good shape. It’s time for a trip south in search of warmer weather… destination southern Georgia.

Having learned from our last trip what not to take and better experienced in what we can cook, we are better prepared with much less. This is more vacation than road trip.

So come along with us as we explore and relax along the east coast of the U.S. Cameras are packed for bird photography.. fingers crossed!
